This one application is for the Montana Pro Rodeo Hall & Wall of Fame Scholarship, MHSRA Scholarship and NHSRA Merit Scholarship. You will be required to do an interview at the state finals rodeo.

Montana Pro Rodeo Hall & Wall of Fame

 The Montana Pro Rodeo Hall and Wall of Fame awarded their 2023 collegiate scholarships to 12 deserving high school seniors at the Montana High School Rodeo State Finals in Great Falls, Montana. These scholarships are awarded based on academics, rodeo participation, community service and need.

This year marks the 19th year that these scholarships have been awarded to deserving Montana high school rodeo athletes. This year's recipients are Emily Williams-Browning, Cadence Schweigert- Miles City, Kaitlyn Carter-Winnett, Hailey Gliko - Belt, Murphy Gaasch - Dillon, Zane Schroeder- Red Lodge, Ryley Mapston-Belt, Logan Vocu-Ashland, Payton Kuntz-Miles City, Trey Knight-Wibaux, Lexi Murer-Bigfork, and Morgan Buckingham-Miles City.

The Montana Pro Rodeo Hall and Wall of Fame is the largest provider of scholarships to high school rodeo participants in the nation.  The MPRHWF is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the western and rodeo heritage of Montana, as well as providing Montana high school students the opportunity to continue their education. Academic All-Around Scholarship

MHSRA along with Pennmont Foundation award 2 scholarships yearly to the academic all around winner. This scholarship is determined by the members GPA and their All-Around Points. The 2023 winners were Taten Erickson -Hobson and Rachel Ward-Phillipsburg

MHSRA Scholarship

Every MHSRA Senior who goes through the scholarship interview process at the State Finals Rodeo and does not receive one of the offered scholarships will receive a $300 Scholarship from the Montana High School Rodeo Association, no separate application is needed.

NHSRA Merit Scholarship

NHSRA awards scholarships to each state based on membership numbers. If you apply for the Montana Pro Rodeo Hall & Wall of Fame Scholarship and complete an interview, then you will be qualified to receive a NHSRA Merit Scholarship. For the 2022-23 season, Montana was able to give 10 scholarships to deserving seniors. The winners were: Ava Malone, Hailey Matthews, Ava Shepherd, McKinlee May, Maci DeHaan, Brad McLean, Sterling Herzog, and Kasey Forum.

JD Hutchinson Memorial Scholarship

The family of JD Hutchinson awards 2 MHSRA members a $500 scholarship. Trey Knight and Emily Williams were the 2022-23 recipients.
